Providing the ultimate hosting experience doesn't stop at service. It continues into the network. To provide our service, we utilise three separate datacentre facilities located in Texas. All of these datacentres are well-known for their quality services.
Datacentre #1, the SoftLayer facility, is located in Dallas, TX. The building sits atop three redundant electrical grids from TXU delivering diverse power to each quadrant of the building. HVAC needs are supplied via five one hundred ton onsite water chillers to deliver N+1 cooling requirements. Video surveillance plus proximity security badge access provides the security required for any of your data.
Datacentre #2 is located in San Antonio, TX. The datacentre features power generation systems and UPS systems to ensure uninterrupted datacentre operation. The HVAC systems are N+1 redundant, ensuring the that the temperature will be kept cool. The facility is also secure - it is physically isolated from everyone but level 3 technicians. Multiple Tier 1 service providers are used, including AT&T™ and XO Communications™.
Datacentre #3 is currently only used to house internal web sites, test servers, and our backup servers. Our main client servers are all at datacentres #1 and #2.
